报告人简介：Prof.Akadaobtained a BS in Biology from Hiroshima University and a doctorate degree from Hiroshima Universityin Engineering. He did postdoc work at the University ofVermont studying the molecularmechanisms of pheromone signal transduction in yeast. He has been an Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Chemistry, and a Professor at the Department of Applied Chemistry, Graduate School of Sciences and Technology for Innovation, Yamaguchi University.His research focus onmolecular biology of yeast, production of ethanol, hydrogen, high value compounds, etc.He has published over 120 papers.
